Evaluation and Panel

The applications are evaluated in a two-day evaluation process by three independent panelists — selected by Project Directors Dresher and Pelletey — who bring their respective expertise in music/sound art, dance/movement, and theater/performance to the reviews. (see below for a list of panelists)

The panel uses the following criteria and priorities in evaluating applications:

• The artistic quality and potential impact of the project on the artist’s artistic growth and their audiences;
• Projects whose realization requires continuous and/or multi-day access to our studio space and our available technologies;
• Artists who work with multiple disciplines and/or from culturally diverse perspectives.
